Privacy Policy

Workers Welfare Fund (WWF), under the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development, Government of Pakistan, is committed to protecting the privacy, confidentiality, and security of personal information collected through its public website and Management Information System (MIS).

2. How We Use Your Information

Information collected is used strictly for operational, administrative, and programmatic purposes in support of the Workers Welfare Fund's mission to provide welfare services to workers across Pakistan.

  1. Grant Processing: Processing applications for marriage, death, estate, Hajj, and educational grants
  2. Eligibility Verification: Verifying eligibility criteria and validating submitted information
  3. Payment Processing: Facilitating grant disbursements and financial transactions

3. Management Information System (MIS)

The MIS platform is a restricted-access system intended solely for authorized users including registered workers, companies, schools, and WWF officials. All access is logged and monitored for security, audit, and operational integrity.

The system implements role-based access control (RBAC) to ensure users can only access data and functions relevant to their role and responsibilities.

Unauthorized access attempts, misuse of credentials, or data manipulation may result in account suspension, disciplinary action, or legal proceedings as applicable.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our websites may use cookies and similar technologies to enhance user experience, analyze traffic patterns, and ensure system security. These technologies help us:

  • SMS Gateway (Telenor): For sending OTPs and notifications

  • Payment Processors: For processing grant disbursements
  • Google Maps API: For location-based services (distance calculation for transport benefits)

These third parties are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information and are prohibited from using it for any purpose other than providing services to WWF.

10. Children's Privacy

The MIS may collect information about children (students) in connection with educational grants. This information is collected with the consent of parents or legal guardians and is used solely for processing educational grant applications. We take special care to protect children's privacy and comply with applicable laws regarding the collection of information from minors.

Workers Welfare Fund reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or system enhancements. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
